New Graphic Design, Services and Functionality Highlight Site's 5th Generation
Reno, NV - The Internet's original insurance marketplace, QuickQuote.com, has launched its fifth major Web site renovation in seven years. The "new" site showcases a complete graphic re-design (including a new QuickQuote logo), the addition of "small group" health insurance products, a new customer account management system, new insurance carriers and more streamlined navigation.
The site's new graphic design, created by northern Nevada-based Art Associates, Inc., features a bright yellow, orange and blue color palette, standardized page layouts and menus, as well as the new QuickQuote logo.
"We were looking for a cleaner, crisper design to enhance the streamlined functionality built into the new site," said QuickQuote President Daniel P. Wager. "The new logo, for example, replicates the image of a clock face to denote movement and the timeliness of the site.
We've also improved navigation for the user that's more intuitive and consistent from page to page, as well as being 50% quicker to download than the prior QuickQuote site," Wager added.
QuickQuote.com's new customer account management system allows users to establish and manage their QuickQuote relationship by saving personal information and quotes in a Personal Profile on the site's secure server. Users can return to their account anytime to review prior quotes, generate new quotes (after queuing a pre-populated questionnaire) or update personal or health data as it changes.
In addition, the site allows users to determine what type and how much insurance is appropriate for them via a new suitability module available on the insurance "get a quote" pages. Then, when the user decides they want to apply for insurance, they now have the choice on how they obtain their application form via e-mail or the postal service.
Our site renovation evolved from recent user study results, " said Wager. "Such input allows QuickQuote to maintain its leadership role for insurance Web site design and functionality."
